Annika Charlotta S renstam is a Swedish professional golfer. Her name is often cited as one of the best female golfers to ever. Prior to retiring from the professional game in 2008 she had won over 90 championships in the world as a professional. That made her the female golfer who had the most winnings. Annika Sorenstam is a well-known golfer from Sweden who is known for her remarkable achievements on the female golf circuit. The year before she left the tournament was the year 2008. As a result of her numerous international championships She is thought to be to be the best female golfer of all time. Annika is the winner of 72 LPGA and ten Major tournaments. There are other 18 events around the world. Annika was born in the year 1970 on the 9th day of October she celebrated her 50th birthday in 2020. Tom was and Gunilla were the parents of Annika. Tom worked as an IBM executive while her mother is employed in the banking sector. Her sister was a golfer and coach at Annika's school. They are one of the very first players on the LPGA Tour to cross the 1,000,000 mark. Annika is wed to Mike McGee and has two kids who are named Madelyn McGee and William Nicholas McGee. The couple Annika and Mike were married on the 10th January 2009. Annika has always been an accomplished tennis player from her younger years. She played tennis and soccer on the national stage as a junior. The ability she had to ski that led her family's move to Sweden in the year 1994, where she continued to play tennis professionally. She qualified for the LPGA final event in 1994 and took her first professional victory in ALPG touring Australia. She was named LPGA rookie of this year, after she finished within the top three. Annika's breakthrough came in 1995 with her win of the US Women Open LPGA tour. Annika was also the only non-American player to win the Vare trophy. Also, Annika was even named 1 in the Money list. In 2008, she decided to quit competition. She also pitched the first pitch during that game. His most recent tour victory was in the playoff in the Suzhou Taihu lady's open. The event was jointly sponsored by the Ladies European Tour & Ladies Asian Tour.
