Emily Bett Rickards (born July 24, 1992) is a Canadian actress. She has played Felicity as Felicity in The CW Television Series Arrow. Rickards, who was raised in British Columbia, is Canadian. At a very young age she was able to discover her passion for acting by performing in musical theater. Her high school graduation was earlier than expected and studied at the Vancouver Film School where she earned her acting essentials certificate. When she completed the program, she auditioned for an open audition, which led to the services of a booking agent. Alida Vocal Studio was her school of choice in Vancouver. Her rapport between her and Stephen Amell, positive feedback from the audience, as well as her sarcastic remarks led to being initially signed as a single-episode guest star.
