Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a playwright, actor director, producer, playwright and teacher of St. Thomas University). Anna Silk was the daughter of the British father and British-born Turkish Cypriot mother. In her early years, Anna appeared on several commercials for television. In the month of November, 1999 Anna relocated to Toronto for the purpose of advancing her acting career. She eventually making the move to Los Angeles, California, in the following decade. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, in an acting workshop. They were engaged by 2009 after getting married. Anna became a Jew in 2011 after converting to Judaism. They got wed in a civil ceremony in December the same year, and they then renewed their vows during a Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton, in April 2011.
